Making homemade wine from Fruit Juice is probably the easiest and cheapest method of making wine, and with very little fuss too. I am sure if this is your first time you will be very surprised just how easy it is to do.
Even if you have very little experience of home wine-making, using fruit juice is excellent way to begin your career as a home brewer, and you can find many choices of ingredients from most supermarkets or local shops.
The first important thing to ensure is that you have all the neccesary tools, implements and ingredients close to hand, namely one demijohn, a funnel, a bubbler, some wine yeast and yeast nutrient. Read the full post

Someone who desires to brew some homemade wine, no matter if they are a beginner or an authority, must reason clearly in relation to a few important things ahead of preparing a gallon (or five!) of wine.
The first, and most imperative, detail is to make certain that all your containers and utensils are utterly sterilised.
Irrespective of whether you are preparing economical homemade wine from fruit juice, or an expensive specialist wine-making package, the last thing you want is for it to be flawed as a result of one stray morsel of microbe. Read the full post

Anybody who wants to make some homemade wine, whether they are a beginner or an expert, should think clearly about a few important points before preparing a gallon (or five!) of wine.
The first, and most important, point is to make sure that all your containers and utensils are thoroughly sterilised. Whether you are making cheap homemade wine from fruit juice, or an expensive specialist wine-making kit, the last thing you want is for it to be spoiled by one stray bit of bacteria. All your demijohn’s or carboys should be completely cleaned throughout, before and after every batch that you prepare. Read the full post

Super Simple (and cheap) Wine Making: I’ve been brewing for years. I started out with a huge complicated kit and there are times when it’s necessary to break that out, but now that I have a good understanding of exactly what’s going on I’ve boiled the process down to streamline it.
To do this you will need
* 1 jug of sugar based fruit juice (or any liquid with a high amount of sugar)
* 1 packet of wine or champagne yeast
* 1 (maybe two) condoms… have an extra in case one breaks when you apply it. Read the full post

I like to make many different types of homemade wine, but this is one of my particular favourites. I have made this with real strawberries, but they are very very expensive when out of season, so take note of my very cheap ingredients, but the taste is exactly the same as with real strawberries.
So here is you shopping list:
2 litres of red (or purple) grape juice. Make sure it is pure. We hate additives!
1 small (500ml) bottle of strawberry sauce (You know, the type you squirt over your ice-cream)
1 kilo of sugar Read the full post

You can read many articles that tell you that you need this and that and all the general paraphanalia that wine-making stores tell you are essential for the job, but from years of experience, i know otherwise. Follow my simple guide and you will have success. Read the full post
