I would break down brewing beer into 9 steps. Doing these steps takes a total of about 3 to 5 weeks and the finished product is a delicious beer that you can take pride in. Although it may seem hard, the brewing process is actually quite simple after you have done it a couple times. It is a lot like cooking but with precise instructions; waiting too long on one step could be the determining factor on whether or not your beer will succeed. Read the full post

The history of making alcoholic beverages is essentially the history of home brewing. Historians believe that beer was originally discovered by people of ancient Egypt and Mesopotamia. Barley was a staple grain of this area and it was soon learned that if the barley got wet and was allowed to germinate, it would become sweet and could be used in foods like bread. This process is known as malting.
It didn’t take much time after the discovery of malting to discover beer. Someone probably allowed their malted barley to get wet and remain exposed to the elements. Perhaps wild yeast contaminated the exposed liquid. The yeast then took hold and multiplied generating a bubbly liquid of alcohol and barley that soon became the first beer.

Pros of my beer machine review
No bottling required
A positive attribute about the beer machine is that you do not have to bottle your beer. While bottling your own brew can be fun to show off to your friends, it can also be very tedious cleaning and reusing the bottles. With the beer machine you simply dispense it from the tap, just like at the tavern. The beer machine does have a special attachment if you desire to bottle your own beer.
Pro #2 of my beer machine review
Fresh tasting beer.

In 1920 the United States outlawed the manufacture and consumption of alcoholic beverages “for beverage purposes”. When prohibition was repealed, home wine-making was legalized, however a clerical error omitted the words “and/or beer” from the document which was eventually passed into law so home brewing remained illegal until 1978 when Congress passed a bill repealing Federal restrictions on the home brewing of small amounts of beer.
